The dark hardwood stock with characteristic fluted butt carved with a floral spray at either side and set with a medal. The lock with brass pan, the barrel with octagonal breech and makers stamps barrel with belled muzzle. With Islamic capture date on the counter plate of 1228 (1812/1813 c.e.) Dated 1813. As found. Overall length 54.7cm. Condition V
