Description
With crooked handle and shaft covered in bark. The finely wrought single-edged and fullered blade marked TOLEDO, released by a button and fitted with a pair of sprung, folding profiled plates which deploy automatically when the sword is drawn, providing a rigid crossguard. 19th-20th century. Worn overall with losses to bark, ferrule loose but functional. Overall length 90cm. Condition III
