Of characteristic form with bifurcate hilt carved of a single section of fibrous horn, petaled steel bolster and polished, single-edged, blade showing pattern-welded forging, finely fullering and a radiused tip. In its wooden scabbard retained by brass bands. Mid-19th century. Overall length 63.5cm. Condition III
