The recurved and fullered double-edged blade with silver inlaid reinforce at the forte and robust armor-piercing tip wrought of fine, well-patterned wootz. The elephant grip of typical form with rolled quillons, yet the pommel takes the form of a very rare stags head, fully-modelled and intricately detailed. In its velvet-covered scabbard. Latter 19th century. Slight wear. Overall length 37cm / 14 1/2". Condition II
