Description
An earlier example than usually encountered. The hemispherical bowl chiseled with triangular panels and inlaid with gold. with captured nasal bar and three plume tubes, originally embellished with gold now largely worn away. Retains its camail of ganga jamuni (brass and iron) patterned rings. Latter 17th century. As found, worn overall, inlay heavily worn, losses to mail. Height 49 cm/ 19.3". Condition V
