Description
Likely Dutch, the two-piece skull with roped comb, the well-formed visor and bevor sharing a common pivot as is typical, the visor with two ocularia with line-engraved border and raising stud, the bevor with breaths to either side in the form of circles with line border en suite. The gorget composed of two lames with turned, roped edges with studded rim and locking hook at the right side. Retains its plume tube. Struck on the the interior of one lame with makers initials A.L. C. 1560-1600. Some wear. Height 31.5 cm / 12 1/4". Condition III
