Moro People of Maguindanao. A fine quality example, with polished banati wood grip and gilded filigreed silver ferrule and engraved silver guard. The handwrought double-edged blade with central ridge. In its wooden scabbard entirely covered in engraved silver. Second half of the 19th century. Blade with areas of slight pitting. Overall length 28.5 cm/ 11 1/4". Condition II
