Description
The solid silver stirrup hilt with lanyard ring and horn grip retaining its original silver wire wrap, the robust, curved blade wrought with a central fuller with original felt washer to base of blade. Lightly truck at the right forte with what appears to be a partial EIC mark. 18th-19th century. Minor wear and isolated areas of pitting to blade. Overall length 89.1 cm / 35". Condition II
