Description
An above average example. The antler grip of fine and unusual form, well carved with aso motifs, with rattan wrapped grip. The well-wrought blade with stepped tip. In its well-carved scabbard with hornbill feather intact, together with a small vessel carved of antler and embellished with aso motifs and used to hold tattoo ink. First quarter of the 20th century. Minor wear and losses. Overall length 64.5cm. Condition III
