Description
The cruciform hilt with large, wrenched spherical pommel, the guard with pronounced ecusson, the quillons recurved with spatulate terminals. quillon terminals rolled toward the blade. With stepped wooden grip and broad, double-edged and bifullered blade tapering continuously toward the tip. First half of the 19th century. Age darkening, guard slightly loose. Overall length 103.6cm. Condition III
