Of characteristic hemispherical form with top spike, adjustable nasal bar, and plume tubes, finely embellished with arched bands of etched calligraphy between panels containing birds and fish, highlighted in silver, the broad borders containing Arabic inscriptions. likewise heightened with silver inlay. Retains its camail of iron rings with pointed termini. Mid-19th c. Minor losses to mail. Height including camail 46cm. Condition III
