Of classic form, the grip paved with mother of pearl, the bolsters finely inlaid with scrolling vegetal motifs. The broad, recurved blade of pattern-welded damascus steel with a heavy armor-piercing tip. In its velvet-covered wooden scabbard. 20th c. Possibly produced for the Delhi Durbar of 1936 at the accession of King George VI which was ultimately canceled. Minor wear. Overall length 26.4cm. Condition I
