The hilt with elaborate silver mounts, embellished guard, wrap and pommel with silver knuckle chain intact and organic grips. The fine, early heirloom Persian blade wrought of black Kara Khorrasan wootz, single-edged with acute thrusting tip. In its fine scabbard covered entirely in embellished silver en suite with the hilt. 19th-20th c. Minor wear. Overall length 98.5cm. Condition II
