The hardwood grip with rare expanded and canted hexagonal pommel, retaining its complex woven rattan wrap, with silver baca-baca. The finely wrought blade with separate ganja, well-fullered and wrought with a broad central panel of dramatic deep-etched twistcore damascus steel. Mid-19th century or earlier. Minor wear. Overall length 60.3cm. Ex- Dave Schmiedt Collection. Condition II
