Likely Northern Italian, forged in one piece with pronounced ridge to the skull terminating in a pear stalk, with brass rosettes intact. The brim with rolled and roped edge, with fragments of the original liner to the interior. Late 16th century. Well worn, minor cracks to peak and brim. Height 27cm. Condition IV
