Made for a datu, the grip carved of banati wood with elaborate crest and silver ferrule. The broad blade retaining a sharp edge. In its carved wooden scabbard with okkir carvings retaining some original lime inlay. Latter 19th century. Minor wear overall, scabbard lacking a section. Overall length 67.5cm. Condition IV
