Meiji era, the steel bowl lacquered black with elaborate applied brass decoration, brass moon maedate intact, with lacquered steel shikoro, the fukurin and visor covered in fine stamped leather. Set with a pair of family mons. Retains its liner and binding cord. Latter 19th century. Minor wear. Overall height 37cm. Condition II
