The massive hilt of finely modeled and pierced brass in baroque motifs, with large rings and guard characteristic of transitional examples. The long, broad blade of flattened diamond section with expanded forte. Latter 17th-early 18th century. Grip wrap lacking. Mounts rubbed, overall wear. Overall length 93cm. Condition III
