Mughal work, a robust example with rhino grip and gold inlaid bolster, with silver toggle intact. The elegant, recurved blade with T-back forged of fine highly-contrasted Persian Kara Taban black wootz. Retains its gilded, profiled and engraved scabbard mounts. Early 18th century. Overall length 38cm. Condition III
