Traditionally carried by aristocratic women for personal protection. With silvered brass mounts, the grip and sheath superbly enameled with a lady in a garden, trees a bird and flowering vines. The straight, single-edged blade with chamfered edge. Latter 19th century. Wear to silver. Overall length 20cm. Condition II
