The hilt of Persianate form, forged entirely of steel and lavishly inlaid overall in silver vinework. The massive curved, single-edged blade of actively-pattern welded damascus steel. In its velvet-covered wooden scabbard with steel mounts elaborately inlaid in silver en suite with the hilt. 20th century. Overall length 98.5cm/ 38.75”. Condition II
