Of characteristic hemispherical form with top spike, adjustable nasal bar, and plume tubes, finely etched with Persian heroes and panels of flowering vinework inlaid in silver, the broad borders containing Arabic inscriptions. Retains its camail of iron and brass rings in geometrical patters, with pointed termini. Mid-19th c. Minor wear, silver rubbed. Height including camail 59cm/ 23.25”. Condition III
