Description
The grip wrought entirely of silver, embossed and engraved in fine baroque motifs with remains of a gilt braid band at the base. The broad, recurved, hollow ground blade well-finished and struck with a makers mark. The scabbard with large embossed and engraved silver mounts showing superb workmanship en suite with the hilt. First quarter of the 19th century. Overall length 64cm/ 25.19”. Condition II
