A rare form, Georgian work. The hardwood stock elaborately inlaid with figured horn and bone plaques and brass studs. With characteristic miquelet lock and button trigger. The damascus engraved barrel with flared muzzle showing evidence of a damascus twist. First half of the 19th century. Worn, untouched. Overall length 42.5cm / 16 ??. As found.
