The hilt well-wrought with robust cup, the knucklebow and guard with flattened and beaded terminals, the spherical pommel with flanged base. Wooden grip with elaborate copper wrap and turkshead knots. The long, straight, double-edged blade of flattened diamond section with short fuller to either side. 17th century. Isolated areas of pitting. Overall length 119.5cm / 47?. Condition III
