The blade of characteristic Khazar form, robust, shallowly curved and wrought with a distinct raised back edge or yelman, and thrusting tip. The robust steel guard with rhombus-shaped ecusson and rounded quillon finials. The en suite pommel of lobate form. 9th-10th century. Excavated. As found.
