Edo era, made for a high-ranking samurai. Comprising a five-plate steel kabuto helmet in dark brown lacquer, five steel-plate shikoro and steel menpo with mail bib. The tatami do of dark brown steel plates connected by mail, likewise the kusazuri. The sode of mail with dark brown lacquered steel plates, the haidate of hide plates lacquered dark brown. The suneate likewise composed of dark brown-lacquered steel plates. On its woven wicker storage case with handmade iron hardware and gold endless knot mon. C. 1750. General wear, losses to lacquer. Overall height 141cm / 55 ?? cm. STAND AND CASE INCLUDED. Condition III
